About Susan
For over 25 years, I have been advising senior decision-makers – from global CEOs, to government leaders, to foundation presidents. I have helped devise strategy and lead organizational change, often in demanding and high-stakes environments, including: the US Treasury Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, JP Morgan, fintech startups, and The Rockefeller Foundation.
As an expert in corporate culture and its intersection with business strategy, I have conducted original research and been published in The New York Times and Harvard Business Review. I also collaborated with the nation's largest banks on their first-ever joint leadership initiative, in response to the financial crisis. I have been a regular TV commentator and a frequent public speaker in venues such as the NY Federal Reserve Bank and the Milken Institute. I am also a seasoned facilitator and trainer, for groups ranging from small teams to as many as 600 attendees.
While I have deep experience in financial services – including private equity and asset management, fintech, regulation and policy – my career has also touched on philanthropy, media and politics, giving me a unique cross-sector viewpoint, and the agility to thrive in new situations.
I hold an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA in Economics from Duke University, and I am an ICF-certified executive coach. I am based in the greater NYC area, and serve clients in diverse locations.
